Faith Groups (Sun. School) 9:30am
The Brandon Christian Church facilities provide meeting space for 2 other congregations and 22 community groups and 12-step programs that meet throughout the month/quarter:
Meals on Wheels
Every Thursday morning, volunteers gather in the church kitchen to prepare delicious hot meals for 35-40 folks who are Meals on Wheels recipients. These meals are delivered with warm smiles by our volunteer drivers who enjoy keeping in touch and sharing Christ's love with each visit.
Equal Exchange - Fair Trade products
We are using and selling Equal Exchange – Fairly Traded
coffee, chocolate, and olive oil. We now only use Equal
Exchange coffee for our church activities. Church folks can purchase fairly traded products during the Fellowship after church each Sunday. We know that this builds stronger farming communities, creates a more equitable trade model, and preserves our planet through sustainable farming methods. http://www.equalexchange.coop/
Family Promise of Greater Brandon
We are an active partner with Family Promise of Greater Brandon to help homeless children and their families within our community to achieve lasting independence and escape the cycle of
poverty. Families aretemporarily housed in community
churches, including Brandon Christian Church, with meals
provided. With the help of a professional Social
Worker and others, these homeless families will find jobs
and housing. Brandon Christian Church provides food, lodging, support and fellowship for these families one week every quarter.

One Saturday each month (usually the second) finds volunteers from Brandon Christian preparing and serving a hearty breakfast to the neighborhood needy. This event takes place at the First Church of the Nazarene, and we are glad to be part of this worthwhile service.
The Emergency Care Help Organization of Brandon provides a variety of assistance programs for those living in our area. Our congregation helps by providing non-perishable items for their food pantry.
