Worship and Wonder is a model of worship and education for our children, ages 3-10.  it is a Montessori method of teaching sacred stories and preparing young children for adult worship.  Truly it is a beautiful way for our little ones to spend theirsunday mornings:  inviting creativity, sharing, and - you guessed it - wonder.

BRANDON CHRISTIAN CHURCH (Disciples of Christ)

Church Programs and Activities

Faith Groups

Small groups meet to deepen their understanding of scripture, develop friendships, and grow a closer relationship with God.  Group meetings are held at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays, Wednesday evenings and several times throughout the week.

Youth Groups

Older children and teenagers meet on Wednesday evenings with loving adults to study and learn, laugh and play, worship and pray.  They also enjoy camp-outs, field trips and summer church camp.

Worship and Wonder

This program is for children, age 3-10, and held on Sunday mornings during the worship hour.  They hear and experience stories of the Bible in ways that will not be forgotten.

Nursery

Our dedicated child care attendant is available each Sunday morning to care for our little ones (infants - age 2) in the church nursery, which is located near the sanctuary.

Music

Our worship service blends contemporary praise and worship songs with the traditional hymns of the church.  The choir and small band rehearse weekly to lead our Sunday worship.

Single Women in Fellowship Together (SWIFT). SWIFT gathers monthly at a member's home for food, friendship and conversation.

Men's Faith Group

All men of the church are cordially invited to gather at 6:45 a.m. each Wednesday morning in the church fellowship hall to study God's Word, share, support and pray for one another.

Christian Book Discussion

An interesting book is chosen each month that encourages thought and discussion at a monthly gathering in a member's home.

Food for Thought

This group meets monthly at a local restaurant to enjoy lunch and discuss a controversial topic.  the purpose is to practice active listening when hearing and sharing diverse opinions.  They constantly are remembering:

In essentials, unity.

In non-essentials, liberty.

In all things, love!
