Jamie Butterweck, Admin Assistant

Jamie Butterweck joined the staff at

Brandon Christian Church (Disciples of

Christ) in December of 2019. Born in PA and

raised mostly in NH, he and his family moved

to Florida rather recently.

A lifelong member of the UCC, he has been an active participant in church outreach and programs most of his life. Jamie has a heart for social justice, with a keen interest in helping those less fortunate and supporting civil rights.

It was through a shared passion for helping others that Jamie met his husband Chris in 2013 when they were both volunteering at a weekly outreach program. They were married in September of 2018, and moved to Bloomingdale in May of 2019 where they live with their 2 cats, Zoe and Merle, and their dog Brady.
Jamie believes we are all called to live life as Christ taught—to love God with all of our hearts and souls and minds, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. He is excited to be joining the staff at such a wonderful and dynamic church, and looks forward to getting to know you all!
