  • We are using ACTS: Seeing God's Power in Action. There is a study guide which is available for purchase through the class: $6.00. You do not need to have the book to attend. Open to the public. Come to all or just a few. No commitment required.
• Children Worship and Wonder ("Childrens' Church")
  • Meets during Sunday service. For children ages 3 through 10. Children sit with parents in church until they are dismissed. They are lined up and walked to Worship and Wonder (classroom 6). Please note: Parents are welcomed to attend with their child/ren. More Info >>
• Chi Rho/Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) - Youth group. Meets on Wednesday evenings. See calendar for schedule.

  • Factoid: The name for Chi Rho comes from the two Greek words "Chi" and "Rho". These are the first two letters in the Greek spelling of the word "Christ".

  • Occasionally, we enjoy skits and plays which are carried out by volunteers from our congregation. Those interested in performing or being part of the crew may contact the church.
• Womens' meetings
  • Single Women in Fellowship Together (SWIFT). SWIFT gathers monthly (alternating between Sunday afternoon and Saturday evening) for food and conversation.  We meet as desired for attending special events (plays, movies, museums, etc,) . Calendar
  • Disciples' Women. Typical meetings include: Communion, bible lesson, the opportunity to give to local and distant missions, food, and fellowship. A variety of annual and monthly activities. Community involvement. Calendar
• Board meetings
  • Each meeting is open to all church members. Please call the church to verify since the meeting day and time may change from time to time. Calendar
• Meals on Wheels ("MOW")
  • Cooking and delivering meals to home-bound persons. If interested in contributing time or food, please contact the church.
• We are a host site for "SHARE Florida Food Network" (Please see http://shareflorida.org/ for more information).

Members are free to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He leads. Several of our members are actively involved in serving the Lord at places in the community. These places include, but are not limited to: the jails, prisons, hospitals, nursing homes, the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery, Family Promise of Greater Brandon, and ECHO (a local organization for emergency assistance).
